Founder and President of Branches Tree Experts, Michael Guercin is a licensed tree expert with more than 30 years in the industry. He is an International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) certified arborist and holds a degree in forestry from West Virginia University. Guercin's commitment to the environment goes beyond the realm of his business. In addition to active involvement in local industry groups, he is the co-founder of the Wisconsin Avenue Beautification Project, a revitalization effort in Northwest Washington D.C.
Richard F. Handler is an arborist with 15 years experience in the field of horticulture. He has an associate's degree in biological technology from State University of New York at Farmingdale, a bachelor's degree in biology from Dowling College and master's degree in landscape architecture from Morgan University. He has a broad background in plant pathology and entomology.
Matthew Madeira is an Arborist with experience and emphasis on the Horticultural aspects of Arboriculture. He has a bachelor's of science degree in horticulture from West Virginia University where he was an active member of the Plant and Soil Science Club and the Organic Farming Research Project. His background consists of plant pathology, entomology, agronomy, and horticulture.
